Selective Oral Surgery

Occasionally, either due to the wishes of a patient or because of the nature of a dental problem, we can perform oral surgery using only a local anesthetic. If the extraction does not seem complicated, then there is no need for the patient to be under general anesthesia for the procedure if he or she so chooses. Local anesthesia is still effective in preventing pain, but minimizes the after-effects associated with general anesthesia.
